Startup Bahrain Week concludes

Manama : The debut edition of Startup Bahrain week concluded yesterday with the closing of ‘Unbound’, an innovation and start up festival.

Over 1500 people and more than 50 startups participated in Unbound, an event which served as a platform for Startups to learn and connect. Entrepreneurs, and experts from around the MENA region gathered at Bahrain International Circuit for the event in the past two days. The event also served as an opportunity for Start ups to pitch to investors.

Startup Bahrain Week is a unique initiative organized by Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) and Tamkeen (Labour Fund) and held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Chairman of the Bahrain Economic Development Board.

The week kicked off with GCC Game Conference (GCCGC) held at Bahrain Polytechnique on Saturday. On Sunday Rowad hosted their ‘Majlis’ at Alto, Downtown Rotana. On Sunday and Monday CH9 and YoStartups’s event hosted “My Startup Bootcamp”. In the heritage houses of Muharraq on Tuesday, THINKERS & DOERS brought “Follow The Leaders” a full day of business meetings, panel discussions.
