GPIC to financially aid A’Ali Charity

Presents donation to Fund Chairman Al Jaber

 The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) has announced financial support to the A’Ali Charity Fund as part of its programme to support associations and charities in Bahrain.

 GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery presented the donation to Fund Chairman Fawzi Al Jaber.

 Speaking on the occasion, Al Jaber thanked Dr. Jawahery for the support and said he is not surprised at GPIC’s generous gesture as the company is known for supporting civil society institutions. He said the donation would help the fund implement many of its programmes and activities.

 Dr. Jawahery praised the Fund’s role and its charitable work. He said its programmes and activities at various levels harness the capabilities and skills of young talents through courses and workshops.

 He said the support comes as part of the Company’s efforts to enhance partnership between the Bahraini society and the private sector.

 He also spoke about GPIC’s commitment in support of initiatives that benefit the community as a whole and help the company to achieve its goals.

 He said such initiatives are today key concepts of business, especially in light of the growing awareness of social issues that impact the lives of ordinary citizens. He stressed this also enables companies to make more tangible contributions and initiatives that are in the interest of society.
