Al Namal –VKL Group Chairman Dr Varghese Kurian recently was honoured with an award from Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan on the occasion of the Kingdom’s celebration of the Anniversary of HM King Hamad’s Accession to the Throne and the National Day.
Last month, Dr Varghese Kurian received Global Excellence Award instituted by Indian Television Channel Janam TV from the Indian Minister of Science and Technology Dr Harsha Vardhan in the presence of Defence Minister Nirmala Sitaraman. He has won Kairali TV Bahrain Business Award which was distributed by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Dr Varghese Kurian, a prominent Bahrain based businessman and philanthropist was recognized by the Indian government with a Pravasi Bharthiya Samman Award earlier.
Dr Varghese Kurian is noted for his successful leadership skills in various sectors and his endless contributions to the social welfare and charity causes, both in Bahrain and India.
“To win the respect and recognition of my country for my achievements and to be able to contribute to the understanding between Bahrain and India are rich rewards for me,” he says.
