2017 Franchise and Dine Expo inaugurated in Bahrain
Manama : The Bahrain Franchise & Dine Expo 2017, a first-of-a-kind expo, held under the patronage of Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, was inaugurated at Crowne Plaza yesterday.
The expo held under the theme of “Expand Your Global Footprints in the Middle East Market”. The expo is organised by the Middle East and North Africa Franchise Association (MENAFA) and Quick Media Solutions Company W.L.L (QMS) in partnership with Tamkeen. The expo will conclude on November 9.
“Tamkeen, as a strategic partner of the Expo, is keen to support Bahrain enterprises by networking and envisioning development and growth opportunities in franchising, which is going to be highlighted during the different workshops and sessions of the Expo,” said Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Chief Executive.
“Tamkeen offers a wide range of Enterprise Schemes to support Bahraini entrepreneurs and international enterprises in the Bahraini market, paving the way for business growth and diversification in the franchise market. The franchise business is an ever-growing business in the MENA region and the world, with great business opportunities, which Bahrain enterprises can venture into and work continuously towards developing their businesses and accessing new markets,” Janahi added.
“I would first like to thank Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate for having the event under his patronage; further it is an honour to be to host such a significant event with the support and collaboration of experts in the business and the government,” Dr Khalid Al-Sharafa, Founder & Chairman of MENAFA, Co-Organizer of the expo said.
“We are dedicated to raising Bahrain and GCC’s share of the franchise business growing in MENA region at a rate of 27 per cent. We are optimistic that the business environment in Bahrain and the region is suitable and ready for more growth and expansion, therefore, they should work towards gaining a larger share in this growing market,” he said. “This expo provides a great opportunity for all businesses, owners of brand products and services, and investors to meet and network with regional and international franchisors and experts to explore potential business prospects,” he said.
