Deputy PM opens ‘Women in Engineering’ conference
Manama : Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa inaugurated the Bahraini Women in Engineering Conference 2017 at Isa Cultural Centre yesterday.
The Deputy Prime Minister was delegated by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council of Women.
Entitled “Bahraini Women in Engineering: sustainability of national accomplishment towards global competiveness,” the conference is organized by the Supreme Council of Women in association with the Bahrain Society of Engineers on the sidelines of the Bahraini Women’s Day, which is dedicated this year to the Bahrain women in the engineering vocations.
Shaikh Khalid expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Her Royal Highness the President of the Supreme Council of Women for consenting to patronize this conference and tasking him to open it on behalf of Her Royal Highness.
