BTF summer camp begins
Manama : Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) has begun a summer training camp for juniors under the head of the technical committee Abdul Jalil Mohammed Humaidan, Board Member in the framework of the BTF efforts to develop Bahraini tennis. Around 20 players both boys and girls registered between the ages of five years to 12 years and do around five hours a week training over a 15-day period from Sunday to Wednesday under the supervision of BTF coaches at its tennis courts of Bahrain Polytechnic University in Isa Town.
The camp comes under the plans and programmers of the International Tennis Federation for the development of tennis in the West Asia region, which is supported by providing tools and balls and raquets under the Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI) programme.
