Khalid Al Mosawi in semis

Khalid Al Mosawi booked his place in the semi-finals of The Late Ahmed Al Mahoozi Cup Singles following his 6-3, 6-4 straight sets Group A win over qualifier Elyas Abdul Redha at the Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) Ramadan Championship at its premises in Juffair.
Joining Al Mosawi from the same group is Yousef Qaed who defeated Karim Abdul Redha 7-5, 2-2 retired.

In Group B action, Ali Dawani made it to the semis with a hard fought 6-2, 4-6, 1-6 victory over qualifier Abdulla Mohammed Ahmed and Hassan Abdul Redha booked his place thanks to a walkover win against Abdul Rahman Janahi.

The semi-final line-up sees Khalid Al Mosawi taking on Ali Dawani and Hassan Abdul Redha with Yousef Qaed, with the final set for tonight at 9.15pm.

A total of eight pairs split into two groups played round-robin with the top two in each group advancing to the semi-final stage.
In The Late Majid Al Zayani Cup Super Doubles, the final match is for tomorrow at 9.30pm between Ali Al Asfoor and Roy Boutagy against Ahmed Rizk and Kadri Rizk. It featured 12 pairs split into two groups of six playing round-robin with the top two in each advancing to the semi-finals.

Aside from the tennis, a backgammon and Kout Bo6 competition is also taking place during Ramadan.
