Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Bahrain on Saturday
Manama : Bahrain sky-gazers will have the opportunity to enjoy the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse tomorrow, Saturday (February11).
The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse will be visible in the sky for the first time this year, said University of Bahrain Physics Professor astronomer Dr. Waheeb Al-Nasser, also chairman of the Bahrain Astronomical Society in a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
A penumbral lunar eclipse makes the full moon appear dimmer than normal as the moon passes through only the outermost part of the Earth’s shadow.
This penumbral lunar eclipse will be visible in most areas on Earth, including most of North and South America, Europe, Africa, and most of Asia.
