FashionTV to open office in Bahrain

ManamaFashionTV (FTV) International, the first fashion and lifestyle TV channel in the world, has announced the expansion of its new division in the Middle East, FTV GCC, exclusively representing all of the France-based broadcasting station’s lifestyle divisions.

FTV is the benchmark of high standards for excellence in fashion and lifestyle broadcasting through to 500 million households, 1 billion of viewers, 200 countries and 20 satellites.  The brand will establish a representing office in Bahrain and FTV International’s Vice President for Middle East, Romain Saint Gilles, will dedicate the first quarter of his tenure developing and launching the brand in the Kingdom.

“The aim of this move is to take the next step in the global expansion of FTV. The Middle East is developing swiftly and it is an important market for us. With the new office, we intend to seize the opportunity to enhance FTV’s presence and strengthen our commitment to the region”, says Saint Gilles.

Some of the aspects Saint Gilles will be focusing on real state development as the integration of Fashion Residences (first made in Pune, India), Fashion Hotels (based in Bali), F Cafes (based in Vienna) and Fashion Cities. 

 “As the world of luxury is evolving, so is the customer. We aim to bring the experience of opulence to a new level for the targeted clientele and investors by providing sophisticated solutions in hospitality and fashion.

“Our focus on TV and events programming will be to promote regional modern art, local fashion designers and luxury tourism in GCC countries,” explained Saint Gilles.

Saint Gilles was previously Fashion TV Vice President from 2009 to 2014, breaking records with the sale of the first fashion TV Hotel in Dubai with Al Habtoor, he was also leading the sale and development of F. Residences in Puna,  FTV Cafes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
