bni names new General Manager
Manama : Bahrain National Insurance Company (bni), a subsidiary of Bahrain National Holding Company (BNH), named Masood Bader as its new General Manager, effective January 2017. He will be succeeding Joseph Rizzo, who has decided to go for semi-retirement.
Masood Bader is an associate member of The Charted Insurance Institute of London (ACII) and has been part of the bni management team since November 2010. During that time, he was assisting the General Manager mainly in commercial insurance and in the last 2 years he also took over motor and personal lines.
Bader has 23 years of insurance and reinsurance experience. An accounting graduate, he started his career as claim assistant with Arab Insurance Group (ARIG) and worked his way up to executive manager in charge of an international marine and energy portfolio. In the six years prior to joining bni, he worked as an insurance and reinsurance broker, first for Arthur J. Gallagher Middle East as a Regional Director, and then for AON Middle East as the Vice President.
