Al Daen, Baitar triumph in triathlon
Manama : Bahrain Triathlon Association (BTA) yesterday hosted the First Bahrain Triathlon Championship which witnessed a large participation of local and expatriate runners, with the men’s category won by Nawaf Al Daen and the women’s by Sameera Baitar.
The winning pair are also part of the national team and also participating were members from the Bahrain National Triathlon Team who are gearing up for West Asia Triathlon Championship, scheduled for mid-November.
At the conclusion of the event, BTA President Shaikh Sager bin Salman Al Khalifa awarded the winners trophies and hailed the wide-ranging participation in the championship.
