Manama

The Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that Bahrain's participation in Operation Restore Hope was an unwavering proof of the kingdom's unflinching stance towards the Yemeni issue and an assertion of strong and deep-rooted historic relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

He added that security of Saudi Arabia was part of Bahrain's security and no effort would be spared in protecting its borders.

Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa arrived in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, yesterday on a visit to BDF personnel deployed at the southern borders of Saudi Arabia. He was welcomed on arrival at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Airport by Commander of Jazan Force Major General Marei Salim Al Shahrani and senior military officials.

Major Shaikh Khalid visited a number of military locations of the BDF troops and conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and congratulations on the Holy month of Ramadan.

He wished Saudi Arabia continuous growth and prosperity under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
