HRH Premier issues two edicts

Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today issued Edict 10/2016.


Under the edict, the Executive by-law of the Real Estate Registration Law promulgated by Law 13/2013 was issued.

The edict stipulated that the executive regulation of decree-law 15/1979, promulgated by the Justice and Islamic Affairs Minister's edict 6/1980, the executive regulation of the same decree-law on the survey affairs, promulgated by Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) Chairman's edict 36/2012, and all contradictory texts to the provisions of Executive by-law of the Real Estate Registration promulgated by Law 13/2013, are cancelled.

The SLRB Chairman shall implement the edict, which will take effect one day after its publication in the Official Gazette.

HRH Premier also issued Edict 11/2016 on re-structuring the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), under the chairmanship of the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

The panel comprises the CEO of the Economic Development Board, the CEO of Gulf Air, the Chairman of the Tourism Sector Committee at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Chairman of BCCI's Exhibitions Committee, Mohammed Sharif Ahmadi, the representative of Mumtakat company, and the representatives of the private sector Rashad Ridha Faraj, Faisal Khalid Kanoo and Hana Hajji Hassan Al-Aa'li.

The members shall serve renewable four-year terms.
