Bahrain, Sri Lanka for greater business ties
Manama : The Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to further enhance trade and cultural relations with South Asian countries.
Prince Salman was holding a discussion with Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr A. Saj U. Mendis, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, Prince Salman welcomed the steady growth of ties between Bahrain and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka across a range of areas.
“On-going bilateral visits between Bahrain and South Asian countries plays an important role in bolstering all levels of bilateral relations,” stressed Prince Salman
HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the newly appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom, and wished him every success in his new diplomatic assignment.
In response, the Sri Lankan Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and emphasised Sri Lanka’s commitment to further strengthening ties with the Kingdom.
