255,069 people entered Bahrain from February 11 to 17

Manama : The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 255,069 people had entered the Kingdom of Bahrain between February 11 to 17.

He added 204,707 travellers arrived from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries via King Fahad Causeway, 45,588 through Bahrain International Airport and 4,774 through ports.

The 25-kilometre King Fahad Causeway, the only manmade terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has ever since been used by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
