HM King leading GCC honorary personality
Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has been chosen as the leading GCC honorary personality in caring for orphans. The announcement was made by Al Sanabel Orphan Care Society at a function held on Sunday for Al Sanabel Award for Community Responsibility in GCC Orphan Care Institutions.
It was held under the patronage of Head of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau and Honorary President of Al Sanabel Orphan Care Society Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa. Many high-profile GCC figures attended the function, which was organised by Al Sanabel Orphan Care Society in concert with the Regional Network for Community Responsibility.
Shaikh Salman said the award was bestowed to HM the King in tribute to his outstanding initiatives to provide every care for the orphans in Bahrain and abroad through the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO).
