Firefighting session concludes
The Civil Defence School has rolled down the curtain on a firefighting session organised for the Four Seasons Hotel staff under the auspices of Deputy Director General of the Civil Defence General Directorate Brigadier Abdulaziz Rashid Al Amer who is in charge of the school.
The Civil Defence Deputy Director General thanked the participants and the hotel’s administration for their keenness to get utmost benefit from the session, stressing the Civil Defence School’s efforts to foster cooperation with various government institutions to prevent accidents and take the necessary preemptive measures.
The firefighting session, in which 115 employees took part, consisted of theoretical and practical topics on fire extinguishing, the causes, types and ways of combating fire. It also brought under the spotlight safety rules in buildings and modern technologies used in detecting and dealing with various incidents.
At the end of the ceremony, the Civil Defence Deputy Director General presented the participants with their certificates.
