Over 15k shoppers visited Bahrain Farmers Market
More than 15, 000 shoppers visited Bahrain Farmers Market in its eleventh week at Budaiya Botanical Garden yesterday.
The market’s administration stated that the visitors were from Bahrain and other GCC countries. It confirmed that high sales were recorded yesterday at the market, proving the ability of local products in competing with imported ones.
The market comes in its fourth edition this year and targets promoting Bahraini farms’ products of vegetables and fruits within a friendly and customer-attracting atmosphere. The market will continue until next April, with the participation of 36 local farms. It is held on Saturdays between 8 am and 12 pm.
