Three Asians Arrested in Two Separate Drug Cases
The Anti-Narcotics Directorate at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence has arrested three Asians in two separate cases for possessing narcotic substances.
The Ministry of Interior said the arrests were part of ongoing security efforts to protect society from the dangers of drugs.
Following information received about the two cases, the authorities carried out search and investigation operations, gathering information and evidence that led to identifying and arresting the suspects, aged between 22 and 24.
The seized substances were secured and placed in police custody, while the necessary legal procedures were completed. The two cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence stressed the importance of community partnership in raising awareness about combating drugs.
It urged the public to report any information related to drug-related activities through the hotline 996 or by email at 996@interior.gov.bh, assuring complete confidentiality.
