"Gadeha Junior Camp Earns Praise for Nation-Building Mission"

Minister of Information Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi and Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, each toured the camp independently. They observed training sessions, met with organisers, and engaged with participants as they worked through an array of physical and mental challenges.

"Nurturing Bahrain's youth and instilling in them a love for their homeland begins in childhood," said Dr. Ramzan, who underlined that initiatives refining character and building self-confidence are foundational to producing citizens who understand their responsibilities to their country and society.

Dr. Al-Rumaihi echoed that view, pointing to the program's combination of physical challenge, values-based education, and character development as its defining strength. "Participants acquire skills and values that will benefit them long after the camp ends," he said, singling out commitment, discipline, teamwork, and the confidence to face adversity as outcomes that would shape participants' academic and personal lives alike.

They credited the camp's creation to HH Shaikh Nasser's personal vision. Dr. Al-Rumaihi described it as a direct expression of His Highness's commitment to discovering and developing the talents of Bahraini youth. Dr. Ramzan added that the directive to establish Gadeha Junior reflects the recognition that preparing future generations is a strategic national priority, not merely a youth activity.

The camp's programs span physical training, field exercises, and educational content designed to reinforce values of loyalty, belonging, perseverance, and national identity — themes both visitors said should be introduced early and reinforced consistently.
