Students from Jidhafs Secondary Industrial Boys School earned university scholarships after building an impressive record in competitions, innovation programmes and volunteering initiatives.

Ayoub Salah Ali and Hussain Saeed Al Kaddad developed their skills through activities spanning design, digital empowerment, photography, entrepreneurship and community service.

Their participation in the UNIDO entrepreneurship and innovation programme proved a turning point, leading to national and Gulf-level competitions and eventually university scholarships for next year through Injaz Bahrain.

The pair also participated in a space hackathon supervised by NASA and the Education Ministry, as well as events focused on youth, peace and development, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

Their achievements extend beyond competitions. They have volunteered in iftar campaigns and Bahraini Women’s Day initiatives and received the Mahfoodha Al Zayani volunteering award.

The students have also contributed to school media and cultural activities, including advertising videos, television directing and the school magazine. Ayoub has additionally conducted workshops on artificial intelligence tools.

School principal Mousa Ebrahim Al Ajmi said their achievements demonstrate what students can accomplish when passion, opportunity, support and determination come together.
