New Hajar entrance nears completion

A new entrance from Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway serving Hajar, Shakhoura and Shakhoura Housing is nearing completion, Northern Municipal Council member Tareq Al Farsani said.
The entrance links the highway to the station in Block 465 in Hajar and is expected to provide an additional access route for residents while easing traffic pressure in surrounding areas.
Al Farsani clarified that the project is not the replacement road for Road 13, but a temporary traffic solution serving the station and nearby areas.
He said the proposed alternative road for Road 13 is a separate project, with details to be announced once the required budget is available.
Al Farsani added that he is continuing to follow up on the project and will keep residents informed of developments.
Once completed, the alternative road is expected to improve connectivity and traffic flow in the fifth constituency of the Northern Governorate.
