Joint committee discusses shared initiatives and future coordination

Bahrain's Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, chaired the Bahraini side at the seventh meeting of the Security Committee Working Group under the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council on Thursday.
The Saudi delegation was led by Ahmed bin Suleiman Al Essa, Director-General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation at Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior.
During the meeting, Major General Dr Shaikh Hamad underscored the importance of strengthening security cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly nations, reflecting their deep-rooted historical ties. He said continued collaboration would help advance joint security efforts, promote the exchange of expertise, safeguard shared interests, and enhance regional security and stability.
The meeting reviewed the progress of the Security Committee's initiatives and achievements, while participants also discussed a number of agenda items aimed at further strengthening bilateral security cooperation and addressing emerging security developments and challenges.
