A new batch of homes repaired following damage caused by the recent Iranian attacks has been handed over to residents in Sitra as part of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to compensate affected citizens.

The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, completed the repairs in accordance with the approved implementation plan and within the designated timeframe.

According to the Ministry of Works, the rehabilitation programme included structural repairs, interior and exterior finishing, and the restoration of damaged utilities and essential services. The work followed comprehensive technical assessments conducted by specialised engineering teams to ensure each home met the highest standards of quality, safety and engineering compliance.

The ministry affirmed that work will continue on the remaining damaged homes under the approved plan and in coordination with the relevant authorities. It reiterated its commitment to completing all repairs on schedule while providing the necessary support to affected families.

Residents who received their restored homes expressed gratitude for the directives of His Majesty the King and the order of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, praising the government's swift response and the rapid completion of repair works that allowed them to return to their homes.

They also commended the continuous support and close follow-up provided throughout the process, from the initial damage assessments to the completion of repairs and handover of the homes.

The residents said the coordinated efforts of government agencies reflected Bahrain's commitment to supporting its citizens, helping restore normal life and providing reassurance to families affected by the attacks.
