Summer Skills Push for Determination
Ministry of Social Development has launched its annual summer programme for people of determination, running in partnership with eight civil society organisations to deliver skills-building activities and promote social inclusion during the school holiday.
Minister of Social Development Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi said the programme reflects the ministry's commitment to empowering people of determination and advancing national goals around equal opportunities and meaningful participation in society.
The initiative is being implemented in cooperation with the Bahrain Society for Parents and Friends of the Disabled, the Friendship Society for the Blind, the Bahrain Society for Child Development, the Bahrain Deaf Society, the Bahrain Autism Society, the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioural and Communication Difficulties, the Child and Mother Welfare Society, and the Bahrain Motivators Society for People with Disabilities. The minister commended partner organisations for delivering tailored programmes that create lasting impact for participants and their families.
