His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for successfully organizing this year’s Ashura commemorations, highlighting strong coordination and support across all sectors.
HM King commended the efforts of government bodies, especially the Ministry of Interior and religious affairs authorities, along with scholars, Ma’atam organisers, committees, and volunteers, for ensuring smooth security, services, and facilitation of rituals.
He noted that the Ashura commemorations were held in an atmosphere of discipline and organisation, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to religious freedom, social harmony, and respect for diverse traditions.
