Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, has received a message from Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates, expressing strong condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In his message, Ghobash described the attacks as a blatant violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty, security and stability and a serious breach of international law and the principles that govern relations between states. He expressed confidence that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by its unity, resilience and wisdom, would overcome the challenges it faces with determination and steadfastness.

The FNC Speaker reaffirmed the UAE’s firm rejection of the attacks, stressing that such actions undermine regional security and stability. He noted that despite the efforts of Gulf countries to promote peace, stability and de-escalation, the region continues to face acts of aggression that require greater coordination, solidarity and preparedness among Gulf states, while reinforcing respect for national sovereignty.

Ghobash also highlighted the strong fraternal bonds among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, describing them as a vital safeguard against threats to the region’s security and stability. He extended his wishes for Bahrain and its people to enjoy continued security, prosperity and progress.

For his part, Al Saleh expressed appreciation for the supportive sentiments contained in the message, noting that they reflect the depth of the longstanding and brotherly relations between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

He underscored the close ties between the two countries, describing Bahrain-UAE relations as a distinguished model of Gulf cooperation built on solidarity, mutual support and a shared commitment to regional security and development.
