The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain supports Friendship Society for the Blind through community footprints initiative

TDT | Manama The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain proudly presented a charitable cash donation to the Friendship Society for the Blind as part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement through The Ritz-Carlton Community Footprints program.

The donation was made possible through funds raised during the hotel’s recent Farmers Market and Bentley Aquathlon events, which brought together guests, partners, and the wider community in a shared spirit of giving, reinforcing its dedication to supporting meaningful causes within the Kingdom.

The handover was attended by the hotel’s General Manager, Bernard de Villele, who commented, “At The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, we believe in the power of community and the responsibility we share to uplift those around us. In attendance were senior leadership, reflecting the organization’s collective commitment to making a tangible difference. The contribution was received on behalf of the Friendship Society for the Blind by Mr. Ali Mohamed Haji Husain.

Established in 1981, the Friendship Society for the Blind is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting individuals with visual impairments through education, training, and social integration initiatives.

The society continues to play a vital role in empowering its members and enhancing their independence within the community.
