A collective of 29 artists has launched a group exhibition titled “The Open Palette” at Oasis Mall in Manama, combining artistic expression with a charitable cause in support of the Bahrain Autistic Society.
The exhibition, which opened on May 1, 2026, was inaugurated by prominent Bahraini artist Abbas Al Mosawi. The opening ceremony was attended by guests including HE Redha Al Feraj and the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Bahrain, HE Md Rais Hassan.
Founded by Dr. Ajumal, Annie Killawala, Hemendra Killawala, Praseetha, and Dr. Sunila, the initiative brings together artists aiming to connect fine art with community service. Organisers said 20 per cent of proceeds from artwork sales will be donated to the Bahrain Autistic Society.
“Art has the power to heal, inspire and give back to the community,” the founders said, adding that the exhibition seeks to both celebrate creativity and support the work of the autism charity.
The exhibition will run at Oasis Mall until May 15, 2026.
