Press Earns Royal Praise
Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information,said the continued development and elevated status of Bahrain’s press reflect the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his firm support for responsible press freedom.
He also highlighted the backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting his efforts to empower national media professionals and enhance their role in development through key initiatives and programmes.
Dr. Al Nuaimi was commenting on the King’s message on World Press Freedom Day, which this year carries the theme “Shaping a Future of Peace,” saying it reinforces Bahrain’s commitment to freedom of expression and the media's role in promoting tolerance and coexistence.
He said the King’s emphasis on responsible journalism as a tool for peace reflects Bahrain’s approach to stability, dialogue, and constructive engagement among nations.
