HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Order No. (13) of 2026 extending the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and Parliament for one year, citing ‘necessity under the current circumstances and their effects’.
The order extends the sixth legislative term of both chambers for a fifth session lasting one year from 12 December 2026.
