HH Southern Governor Meets MPs, Citizens and Civil Society Representatives

His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, received members of parliament, dignitaries, citizens, and representatives of civil society institutions.

During the meeting, His Highness highlighted the strong coordination and partnership with government entities to meet citizens’ needs and support their aspirations, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Highness emphasised the importance of ongoing engagement with residents through the weekly council, noting the governorate’s historical and developmental achievements and its role in Bahrain’s comprehensive progress. He affirmed that listening to citizens and addressing their concerns remains a key priority.

The Governor also received various observations and proposals related to security, services, and social matters. He confirmed that these will be closely followed up in coordination with relevant authorities to enhance service quality and support continued development across the governorate.
