Shura Praises Government Measures to Safeguard Economy

The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council has praised recent directives issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, describing them as a key reinforcement of Bahrain’s economic stability and national resilience.

Chaired by Khalid Hussain Al-Maskati, the committee said the directives issued during yesterday’s Cabinet session reflect a proactive government approach that closely monitors regional developments and prepares for any potential economic impact linked to hostile Iranian actions against Bahrain.

Response It noted that the leadership’s response underscores a high level of readiness and efficiency in managing emerging challenges while maintaining stability across key sectors.

The committee also highlighted that the Crown Prince’s directives align with guidance from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, delivered during his meeting with Bahrain Defence Force personnel, which emphasized compensation for citizens affected by recent incidents. It said this reflects a unified leadership approach focused on protecting citizens and reinforcing national security.
