Electricity Minister meets EU Special Representative for the Gulf

Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, held talks with Luigi Di Maio, the European Union’s Special Representative for the Gulf, in Manama.
The meeting was attended by the EU Ambassador to Bahrain and members of the accompanying delegation.
Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union, with both sides exploring ways to expand collaboration across key sectors. The talks also highlighted efforts to enhance strategic partnerships and promote the exchange of expertise and knowledge.
Minister Humaidan reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to deepening ties with international partners, emphasizing the importance of advancing cooperation to support innovation and knowledge transfer in the electricity and water sectors, in line with sustainable development goals.
For his part, Di Maio praised Bahrain’s progress in developing its energy sector and stressed the importance of further expanding cooperation to achieve shared objectives.
