Civil Defence Responds to 162 Incidents with Rapid Action

Captain Abdullah Waheed Al Mannai of Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior affirmed that authorities continue to operate around the clock to safeguard national security and strengthen civil protection and public safety measures.
Speaking during the daily media briefing organized by the National Communication Centre, Al Mannai stated that all security and service agencies remain fully operational with a high level of readiness and coordination. He emphasized that essential services for citizens and residents are being delivered efficiently and without disruption.
The briefing is part of ongoing efforts to keep the public informed about the latest developments related to recent regional security incidents.
Rapid and Professional Emergency Response
Al Mannai highlighted that Civil Defence teams have handled 162 reports since the beginning of the recent escalation, responding swiftly and professionally to incidents. These included falling debris affecting homes, commercial establishments, and vehicles, as well as firefighting operations at impacted locations.
He noted that the quick response reflects the high preparedness of Civil Defence teams and their ability to manage emergencies efficiently, helping to minimize damage and protect lives and property.
66 Site Inspections Conducted
In addition, Civil Defence carried out 66 field inspections covering residential properties, commercial facilities, and vehicles. These inspections aimed to assess damage, verify incident impacts, and implement necessary measures in line with approved technical and professional standards.
Al Mannai explained that these inspections are part of broader field interventions designed to evaluate affected areas, enhance preventive readiness, and ensure proper handling of any consequences resulting from debris or related incidents.
