Vision
On Bahraini Youth Day, the story is not only about celebration but about the trust placed in a generation that continues to prove it deserves it.
Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, said that the achievements of Bahraini youth across sectors reflect a clear national vision that places their empowerment at the heart of development. She pointed to the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who has prioritised youth as true partners in building the nation’s future.
Support
She said that the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, have shaped a government approach that places young people at the centre of national progress, ensuring they have the space to innovate, contribute, and lead.
Tawfeeqi also highlighted the role of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in strengthening youth empowerment, noting how continued backing has enabled young Bahrainis to turn ambition into tangible achievements. She praised the support of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in opening wider opportunities for youth to showcase their capabilities and creative potential.
Unity
Amid current challenges, she said the unity shown across Bahraini society, particularly by its youth, reflects a deeply rooted sense of belonging. Their presence in community efforts and national initiatives, she added, stands as a powerful example of solidarity and shared responsibility.
Pride
She expressed pride in the growing number of young Bahrainis excelling across fields, describing them as a generation driven by ambition without limits and equipped with a leadership spirit capable of making a real difference.
For many, their efforts are already visible, not in grand statements, but in quiet determination and consistent contribution.
Future
Tawfeeqi said Bahrain continues to view its youth as the driving force behind a more prosperous future, with the Ministry of Youth Affairs working to translate this vision into programmes that build leadership skills, expand opportunities, and strengthen their presence both regionally and internationally.
She added that Bahraini Youth Day remains a renewed call to recognise their contributions, urging young people to continue striving, growing, and shaping a future that reflects their potential and the aspirations of the nation.
