Food supplies, shipping operations steady

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry held an expanded meeting, bringing together representatives of the food sector and logistics industry to review the status of shipping activity and supply chains in light of ongoing regional developments.
The meeting, chaired by Khalid Ali Al-Amin, Chairman of the Food Sector Committee at the Bahrain Chamber, brought together members of the Chamber’s Transport and Logistics Committee alongside representatives from several shipping and logistics companies.
Discussions focused on ensuring the continued stability of food supplies and the uninterrupted flow of goods to the Kingdom’s markets.
In periods of stability, maritime activity at ports may appear as routine commercial operations.
However, during times of regional tension, supply chains become a matter of economic security directly linked to market stability and the daily needs of citizens and residents.
