Foreign Ministry Facilitates Return of Citizens from Abroad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues its intensive efforts to facilitate the return of Bahraini citizens currently abroad through land border crossings, as part of its ongoing monitoring of regional developments and its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens.

These efforts are being carried out in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and their counterparts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Ministry is also working closely with Bahrain’s embassies abroad, which are following up on the status of Bahraini citizens in GCC countries and providing the necessary support and assistance to help ease their procedures at land crossings and organize their return home smoothly.

The Ministry confirmed that it continues to monitor the situation of Bahraini citizens abroad around the clock through continuous communication with Bahrain’s diplomatic missions. It is also working to provide the necessary facilitation and support for those wishing to return, reflecting the Kingdom’s high readiness and ability to respond swiftly to various developments, while embodying Bahrain’s steadfast approach in caring for its citizens wherever they are.

In this regard, the Ministry reiterated its call for Bahraini citizens abroad to register and update their contact details and residence information via the electronic link:
