Nine Thai Nationals Safely Return Home After Embassy-Assisted Journey from Bahrain

The Royal Thai Embassy in Bahrain confirmed that nine Thai nationals have safely returned to Thailand after receiving assistance from embassy officials during their departure from the Kingdom.

According to the embassy, Mr. Manachai Wattanawongsarat, Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Manama, personally escorted the group across the King Fahd Causeway to ensure a smooth and safe transit.

The group traveled from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia before continuing their journey through King Fahd International Airport. From there, they proceeded to King Khalid International Airport for their onward flight to Thailand.

Seven of the nine passengers boarded Saudia Flight SV846, which has now successfully landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand on 5 March 2026 at 13:40 local time.

The coordinated travel arrangements were part of the Thai embassy’s efforts to assist its citizens in Bahrain and ensure their safe return home. Embassy officials have continued to provide guidance and support to Thai nationals in the Kingdom during the current regional situation.

The embassy expressed appreciation to the relevant authorities and partners who facilitated the safe transit of the passengers throughout their journey.
