Government Facilitates Safe Return of Bahrainis Stranded Abroad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain has announced measures to facilitate the safe return of Bahraini citizens abroad through land border crossings, in light of the current developments in the region.

The ministry said it has coordinated with relevant authorities and partners in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as with counterparts in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, to ensure citizens can travel back to the kingdom safely and smoothly via land routes.

According to the ministry, the initiative reflects its commitment to protecting and caring for Bahraini citizens overseas. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation and maintain close communication with Bahrain’s diplomatic missions abroad to provide necessary support and facilitate the return of citizens wishing to come home.

The ministry also reaffirmed its readiness to take all necessary steps to ensure the safe arrival of Bahraini nationals back to the kingdom.

Bahraini citizens currently outside the country have been urged to register their contact and residence details through the official online portal to keep their information updated.
