Bahrain Suspends All Court Sessions as Precautionary Measure

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced on Sunday the suspension of all court sessions as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of employees and litigants amid the current circumstances in the Kingdom.
Sources told Al Ayam Newspaper that the decision includes civil and criminal hearings, as well as Sharia court sessions in Riffa.
The step was taken as part of temporary preventive measures based on recent security developments witnessed in Bahrain since yesterday, which continue to evolve.
Authorities said the move reflects efforts to safeguard the public and ensure the safety of visitors and staff at judicial facilities. Officials are closely monitoring the situation and any updates will be announced through official communication channels.
