UAE, Türkiye leaders discuss regional military escalation in phone call

Abu Dhabi: The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a phone call on Saturday with the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to discuss the rapidly escalating military situation in the region and its growing threat to regional security and stability.
President Erdoğan reaffirmed Türkiye’s rejection of the Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and several other countries, warning that continued military escalation would further inflame tensions and expose the region to serious security risks.
Both leaders stressed the urgent need for an immediate halt to military operations and underlined the importance of resolving regional crises through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.
