Yes, an idea can change lives.
Who knows it better than Bahrain?
“IDEA HUB” is the product of this innovative thinking.
The focus, not surprisingly, is young blood.
This platform is for them to inject their pathbreaking thoughts and “IDEAs”.
According to Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, this new digital platform welcomes innovative proposals and development initiatives that could contribute to advancing the youth sector and strengthening their role in national development.
“We are committed to creating a supportive national environment that nurtures creativity and transforms young people’s ambitions into practical, high-impact projects,” stressed Tawfiqi.
“The calibre of ideas and initiatives presented by Bahraini youth gives the ministry high hopes.”
Tawfiqi also underlined the ministry’s confidence in the capabilities of Bahraini youth and their capacity to drive community progress through forward-looking and innovative approaches.
So, if the question is — how does it work?
The answer is: “IDEA HUB” is designed as an interactive channel through which young people can share their perspectives.
Once received, a team of experts will evaluate the proposals.
Based on this evaluation, participants will receive support to develop viable initiatives that contribute to building a more innovative and sustainable future.
Who is invited?
The platform is open to young people aged 15 to 35.
But make sure that your ideas are original and implementable. Most importantly, they should be directly relevant to the youth sector and capable of delivering tangible and wide-ranging community impact.
Submissions may be made via the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ official website.
Approval will focus on innovation, feasibility, clarity of concept and implementation mechanisms, and the potential to benefit a broad segment of society. The Ministry will also oversee the development and execution of proposals that meet the approved standards.
The aim, the ministry says, is to translate promising ideas into practical initiatives that further strengthen the youth sector.
So, what are you waiting for? Step forward. Speak up. Help shape the future of Bahrain.
