Field visit explores oil and environment initiatives

Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina highlighted the importance of developing national talent in strengthening government performance and supporting sustainable development.

The minister made the remarks during a meeting with members of the 11th batch of the Prime Minister’s Government Cadres Development Programme during their field visit to the Ministry of Oil and Environment.

Participants were briefed on the ministry’s key programmes and initiatives in the oil and environment sectors, including efforts related to environmental protection, resource conservation and climate change.

Dr. bin Daina said the programme provides valuable opportunities for government personnel to exchange knowledge, learn from best practices and develop skills needed to address future challenges.

He stressed the importance of empowering national cadres to innovate and contribute to solutions that support Bahrain’s development goals and enhance government efficiency.

The participants expressed their appreciation for the visit, noting that it provided valuable insight into the ministry’s experience and contributed to developing their professional capabilities.
