Bahrain Seeks Regional Football Growth through Strive-LaLiga Partnership

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, received Mr. Javier Tebas, President of the Spanish Football League “LaLiga,” in the presence of Mr. Abdullah Al Zain, Director General of the Office of His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of Strive Company.

During the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships bridging the sports and investment sectors, notably the collaboration between Strive and LaLiga. He described this partnership as a model of regional and international cooperation aimed at strengthening football’s presence and developing its ecosystem across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, while opening new avenues for sports investment and joint initiatives. His Highness also praised Mr. Tebas’ efforts in advancing LaLiga and enhancing its global profile.

For his part, Mr. Javier Tebas expressed his pride in meeting His Highness and reaffirmed LaLiga’s commitment to fostering regional collaboration through strategic partnerships and joint initiatives that promote football, enhance its institutional and investment presence, and elevate the sports ecosystem.

The discussion also explored ways to strengthen cooperation in sports and youth development, reviewing opportunities to expand strategic partnerships that support the growth of the sports sector in the region.
