HM King commends Bahraini and Saudi swimming officials

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent two cables of congratulations to Abdulla Attiya Abdulla Ali, President of the Bahrain Aquatics Federation, and to Loai bin Abdulwahid Tashkandi, Vice President of the Saudi Swimming Federation, on completing a swim from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The swim followed the route named the HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Swim Challenge, commemorating His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s similar achievement in 2014.
HM the King commended the accomplishment and reiterated support for initiatives that promote excellence in sport and strengthen ties between the two peoples.
