Comprehensive E-Transformation Plan for Housing Ministry Reviewed
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, chaired the 291st meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning’s comprehensive digital transformation plan, which forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and streamline procedures for citizens. The committee also discussed the latest developments of the “Tomooh” programme, one of the ministry’s housing finance initiatives aimed at providing suitable housing solutions for citizens.
In addition, the committee followed up on progress related to the environmental rehabilitation project of Tubli Bay.
The meeting also included a review of several periodic reports, covering:

The progress of the marine sand survey project (Rimal).

The annual report of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects for 2025.
The discussions reflect the government’s continued commitment to advancing development initiatives and strengthening infrastructure across the Kingdom.
