BTC beings first phase renovation

Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) on Friday officially unveiled the first phase of the project to renovate the club’s courts 3, 4 and 5 at a ceremony at its premises in Juffair, which was attended by club members led by its President Khamis Al Muqla, board members and directors.
The ceremony started with a welcome speech from BTC General Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Abdullah, welcoming all and giving the floor to Al Muqla who thanked Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs and President of the General Organisation for Youth and Sports, Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder for his the support and assistance in the project.
Al Muqla thanked the club and its members, stressing the continuation of the club to improve facilities and achieve international standards.
The courts were last renovated back in 2008 and courts 1 and 2 are now undergoing the process with immediate effect and are expected to be completed by the last week of June.
