Tamkeen takes part in Web Summit 2026 Doha

The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) concluded its participation at Web Summit Qatar, held from February 1 to 4, in the State of Qatar, with the participation of 15 Bahraini technology startups, and in collaboration with both the “Economic Development Board” and “Export Bahrain”.
Web Summit is one of the world’s leading global events in technology and innovation, bringing together thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders from around the world to discuss the latest trends and developments in this rapidly growing sector.
Tamkeen’s support comes in line with the Fund’s strategic priorities for 2026, which focus on areas with the highest contribution to the economy and Bahrainis, and on contributing to initiatives that connect skills with available job opportunities in the market, adopting an innovative approach to stimulate private sector growth and financing, alongside developing mechanisms and enhancing governance and institutional culture at the Fund.
