Modern Exchange opens two new outlets in Bahrain

Further expanding its presence in Bahrain, Modern Exchange Company, which commenced its operations May 2015, have opened two more branches, its seventh and eighth in Askar Labour Camp and Souq Waqif in Hamad Town, respectively.

The branches were formally dedicated to customers yesterday by Abdulla Esam Fakhro, a Director of the company.

Speaking at the launch in Hamad Town, Fakhro said, “We are fully committed to provide the best in class service to our customers. Our heavy investment into acquiring latest technology and use of API services have enabled us to provide instant credit to our esteemed customers across remittance corridors.”

“We also provide free life insurance to all remitters, irrespective of the amount remitted. The above unique propositions are a big hit with the remitters locally and are giving us the confidence and the conviction to expand our operations rapidly,” he added.

“While we shall soon be opening branches at Lulu Road in Manama and in Um Al Hassam, thereby taking our tally of branches to 10 (ten) in a short span of less than 1 year, we have also been permitted to roll out on-line remittance service by Central Bank of Bahrain. The same is a work in progress currently and shall be rolled out soon to add the ease of use and convenience,” he further added.
